It’s the Cherry Blossom season and it was a day that I went down to Seattle for a short relaxing day. I’m pretty sure a lot of you have been to Seattle but here are some of the things that you might not know about Seattle and I, am sharing them with you in this post!!
1. UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
The University of Washington (UW) is the largest university in the Northwest. Seattle is the main campus for the university. In spring time, it is also a great place to watch cherry blossom and a great attraction for tourists!
UW has an excellent academic reputation across the nation and the world. The library system is one of the very largest in the United States, with well over 7 million volumes
2.THE SEATTLE GREAT WHEEL
If you are looking to have some fun in Seattle, one thing you can do is to ride the Seattle Great Wheel. It was opened to the public on June 29, 2012. Since then, it has become an icon of the city and a destination for tourists and locals alike. The view is also lovely as you ride up to the top!
3.RESTAURANT: CRAB POT
CRAB POT is definitely one of the iconic seafood place you must visit when you’re down there. It tastes good and also at the same time, they way that they serve it is interesting!
RESTAURANT:DING TAI FUNG
DING TAI FUNG, well because we don’t have it in Vancouver, that’s why when we visit Seattle, this is a must-stop-and-eat station. Famous for its Xiao Long Bao.
5. SPACE NEEDLE
The Space Needle is a large tower in Seattle, Washington, and is one of the most well known landmarks of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The Space Needle is located in the Seattle Center and stands 605 feet (184 meters) high at its highest point and 138 feet (42 meters) wide. The tower weighs approximately 9,550 tons. Enjoy the beautiful views up there.
