Hey Shelltributors! Thanks so much for your patience for an update! As you’ve probably know (from my Instagram page here), that I’ve been on a trip to Hawaii, it’s been a while since my update. So here we are with the new post to feature a very boho chic look, and to share with you the tips to look boho chic! xoxo
I am a huge fan of Bohemian Chic Fashion as it is perfect for summertime and any tropical vacation. A style that includes flowy clothing, vintage and ethnic-inspired accessories, and natural-looking hair and makeup. So if you wanna look awesome and boho chic for your sweet escape to tropical paradise, here are the tips and the few things that you need. ♥
1. EXPERIMENT WITH FLORAL & FUN PATTERNS
It doesn’t really matter if you are wearing maxi-dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, as long as you’ve got some sort of floral patterns and that summer vibe on, you are one step closer to a boho chic look.
Shelltips: one thing to be very careful of: If you do decide to go with fun patters/floral, be sure to pair them with relatively neutral items for a balanced outfit. In this case, I was wearing a relatively neutral, and plain bag and booties to balance out the look.
2. ACCESSORIZING IS A MUST
Options are a lot, these may be bracelets, necklace, a great fun hat, choker, vintage style sunglasses, headbands, and a nice bag. I’ve always thought that the Chloe Faye bag is an perfect option for any boho chic look. In this case, the B-Low The Belt belt that I was wearing really enhanced the bohemian vibe to this look.
2. BOOTIES or SANDALS, NO HEELS!
Yes. Booties and sandals are mandatory to complete a boho chic look. Heels are unwanted (bye heels, for a while lol).
Shelltips: Leather and suede are the perfect fabrics for shoes; natural shades such as beige, tan, and brown are highly recommended and definitely my favourite.
I WAS WEARING:
DRESS: URBAN OUTFITTER
BELT: B-LOW THE BELT
SUNNIES: TOM FORD
