How many of you don’t want your summer maxi dresses go to waste especially when summer is short like in Vancouver? Hands up a hundred percent! The truth is, there’s multiple ways of transitioning your maxi dresses into fall! In this post, we are gonna talk about how to transition your maxi dresses into fall! Enjoy, xoxo!

LAYERING is the key when it comes to fall/winter fashion. When it gets cold, instead of throwing your dresses into the corner of your wardrobe, which may be are gone forever, and never wear them again. We can layer them with a little knit tank top to keep us warm!

If your maxi dresses are a little baggy like mine in this post, make sure to wear something tight to enhance your feminine curve. To add more spice, wear a tank top that’s high-waisted to make your legs look extra long! =p

One layer is not enough ? Da-la! We can always do more layering to create more fun looks!

The simplest and one of my favourite is simply to wear a leather jacket on top of everything, and you are all set for a fall or even winter look!

Other options are:

  1. Cardigans, long or short doesn’t matter
  2. Jackets, preferably a little cropped to create better structure with a maxi dress

In terms of the colors, neutrals, black, grey are the best! You can never go wrong with them. =)

Yes, I always miss my maxi skirts/dresses once fall and winter rolls around, but this is definitely a great way to incorporate them in to your wardrobe for the cooler weather <3 :)
