My Las Vegas diary is finally up! What are the couple of things that go through your mind when you think of Vegas? Night clubs, gamble, strip clubs, lots of drinking and getting high? I know! And I did none of that because it was the vacation with parents! Duhhh!! >.<
Nevertheless, there are tons of fun stuff to do in Vegas if you ever get a chance to go down there. We took a flight there and arrived in the morning. Since all the fun happens in nightlife; we started shopping like crazy in the day time.
1)Top places to shop? I say:
– Via Bellagio
-Grand Canal Shops at TheVenetian
-Fashion Show Mall
-Las Vegas Outlet Center
When the night time officially begins, first let’s start with 2)Las Vegas Blvd. It is the most prosperous blvd, and it would be a shame if you don’t drive around/walk around the first time you get there. The blvd is full of fancy hotels, clubs, hotels and all that.
Las Vegas Blvd
The Hotel Paris is right across from
3) The Bellagio Fountains – which is designed to romance your senses. One should definitely visit this famous spot when getting to Vegas. The schedule/time of the fountains goes as the following:
Monday – Friday3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes
Saturdays & Holidays12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes
Sundays 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes
You may also get an birdeye view on top of the Effel Tower Hotel right across; the downside is you can’t hear the music. If you wanna be able to enjoy the music and also the foundations view, then the best bet would be to stand in front it. =)
Cirque du Soleil
It would be really cool to visit the 4) Cirque du Soleil, which is originated from Vegas even though it’s expensive, and almost cuts three hours out of your time. We watched Zarkana, and bought the ticket for about $130/person. The nice thing was we watched it late night so we actually ended up getting better seats than what we paid for because the theater wasn’t full. Great tips for ya I know =p
For hotels, the first night we stayed at Aria Resort&Casino, which was where we watched the Cirque show as well. It is one of the newest hotel and everything was automatic. The above view was from the 26th floor and it’s got pretty good views.
You can pretty much gamble, drink, watch the Cirque show, and shopping all you want in there; it’s got all the big brands you can think of, Prada, LV, Dolce&Gabanna, Harry Winston, etc. So enjoy! Just make sure you still have enough money left for your food and flight back home =p
We’ve also lived at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, got great shopping malls and everything. Just comparing to other newer hotels, this one is relatively older, such as showering isn’t as good as the other one. But! For girls who love photoshooting, you found your perfect spot!<3
If you are ever in Vegas you have to visit 5) Grand Canyon and its national park. It is rated the top three most popular national park in the world, and the view is absolutely stunning!
It took us roughly 4 hours drive from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, so I would say leave at least a day to visit there. The ticket for entrance was about $30, and it’s a 7 days pass. So if you decide to camping there or live around the hotels over there, you can definitely go inside and out of the park without having to pay again!
We drove our rented car from Avis there; however, I see a lot of other tourists ride the Pink Jeep, the touring car with a guard around the Grand Canyon Park as well. Personally I prefer driving on my own because damn, it was damn cold in December (literally only 19 or 20 Fahrenheit) So for people who think Vegas (desert) is warm in December?! Please don’t make the same mistake as I did, bring and wear as much as you can because it is freeeezzzing there! *=p
Also you can do a Helicopter tour if you have sufficient time! =p Just to get an bird-eye view of everything!<3
Look at who we bumped into!! OMG it was the luckiest thing ever that we ran into these cute wild life in the Grand Canyon national park. They are so cute and literally were only three steps away from me! Everybody stopped their cars half way and started taking photos with them! They are the cutest and friendly as hell!<3
Ok guys, hope you enjoyed it and found some inspirations of your next tour!!! Have a good week! XOXO
